The Fight
Are you under attack?
Get up! Don’t turn your back.
You are an adopted child of the Most High King.
Listen ~ all Heaven’s Hosannas ring.
Draw your Sword (This is not practice or play),
Use God’s Word and plunge it forward.
Beware, at first a darts blade may appear to have no sting or pain.
But its poison can run rapidly in your veins.
Have you let down your shield due to pride or selfishness?
Repent and be cleansed in His Righteousness!
Raise the Shield of faith up high.
Don’t let any of the evil ones’ darts pass it by.
Do not fear for Emmanuel is here.
His messengers battle at your side.
His Son will come on the Victory Ride!
Abide in Him as He abides in you
and together He will see you through.
Seek Him daily in the quiet
Away from all the noise, away from the riot.
Be bold, strong, courageous, and true.
God has a plan and a destiny for you.
Trust in Him He will lead the Way.
And remember to get down on your knees and pray.
