The Orchestrated Day

Each morning as we awake little do we know what the Lord has tucked into our day and how it will play out. This day began like others the only difference in being the last day of our Classical Conversations community meeting for this year. I had mixed emotions. Not only was this my first year homeschooling, it was also my first year tutoring and it has been an amazing journey…

As the mornings orchestra unfolded the beauty of God’s Word reminded us that the heaven’s and the earth declare His praise. How? By fulfilling what they were created for. (Psalm 148) Even now, by carrying out God’s purpose for our lives we too praise the Lord.

“Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth! Young men and women alike, old and young together! Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his glory is above earth and heaven…Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 148: 11-13;Psalm 150:6)

God himself sets up kings and deposes of them, he changes the times and seasons, the very timeline the history of the earth has been orchestrated in His perfect timing from the beginning. He knew exactly when his Son would come to save us, and when He will return. He is truly the Master Conductor!

By evening my children and I sat around the dinner table sharing our day. Julius asked if we were going to attend the drama his friend invited him to because he really wanted to go. With it starting in 45 minutes we needed to leave right then, so we did.

Even now as I write to you I want to cry. For the first time ever this drama, JOURNEY OF LOVE, was performed indoors for this one night only(as it normally is partially held outside…). I believe this was no accident.

As the rain poured outside His Holy Spirit reigned inside. The Journey of Love, I dare say touched every persons heart in some way that was in attendance that night, as well as mine.

The heaven scene began and I was carried back to the mornings orchestra… in this scene the angels gave God glory… a man sang and my heart soared wanting to become a part of the drama and praise Him along side these other believers. When the drama came to a close I wept, my son wept. It was at this moment that he wanted to turn his heart over to the One true King. On this very night,  he confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized. Psalm 150:6 came to my heart and mind again…”Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!”

I couldn’t ever have imagined what God had planned for our day, but I’m so thankful that He’s in control. I’m thankful for this orchestrated day and everyday I’m here…

If you live near the Grand Strand of MB, SC. I encourage you to attend the Journey to Love.

For those of you who don’t, I know that a local church has prepared for Passion Week in some way as Christians unite for Easter Sunday. I encourage you to check it out, you won’t be sorry.

Have you had an orchestrated day?  A day that was just so beautiful?

It’s just amazing how God speaks to people… Especially through His creation.
